As If Everything Was Held in Place is the debut album by American post-hardcore band Of Machines. It was released on March 3, 2009.[3] The album was generally well-received by critics and with it being the only album released by the group, it is credited as a landmark of the post-hardcore genre in terms of innovation, musicianship and deliverance.[4][5]
